When Manual CPC Still Wins
Manual bidding (or Enhanced CPC) is still critical in a few specific scenarios:
- Brand New Accounts: When Google has zero conversion data, Smart Bidding guesses wildly. Start manual to feed the algorithm reliable data first.
- Highly Niche B2B: If you only get a handful of ultra-high-value leads a month, Smart Bidding struggles. You need to bid manually for exact match keywords where intent is clear.
